When you're not sure if you're wearing too much jewellery to the office, just go with the few pieces possible. A basic rule applies that it’s ok to wear a watch, a bracelet, a pair of earrings and a necklace.
One or two nice rings on each hand as a solitaire or a band ring should be fine. The stacking rings are very popular and may be combined with a simple stone ring to create modern outfit.
Be very careful not to put too much jewellery on, if you put on the stick out earrings like big hoops don’t wear show up necklace to match with and the same applies in the reverse way.
If you decide to wear simple outfit combined with more bangles, make sure your bracelets don’t make a lot of noise causing the disruption to your colleagues. In this case we recommend matching the bangle bracelets with a pair of small minimalistic earrings and a delicate go with everything necklace or eventually no necklace. You can mix the metals, there is no rule to wear one colour and metal anymore.
Best, the bracelet you wear to work would be delicate and stylish, something that speaks to your personality. Less is definitely more. If you would like to wear a stylish outfit, stick with a more neutral bracelet and/or earrings.
Are you concerned about wearing bracelets on both wrists? Do it, but do not overdo it!
The key to wear a bracelet to work is effortlessness. Don’t forget to treat your bracelet like your watch.
How to wear a bracelet with a watch?
This is the idea of stacking 1 or 2 bracelets with your watch on the same wrist. Thin delicate bracelets work well and should sit below your watch closer to the wrist; instead of on top of your watch a bangle bracelet would look great.
Keep in mind:
- Earrings, bangles with a lot of movement cause noise and distraction.
- Pick one or two area to focus on with your jewellery.
- Think about which area you would like to emphasise.
Don’t forget to store your jewellery properly to last long time. Happy jewellery wearing!
